An economical, high performance corrosion resistant alloy. Developed from the technology of INCOLOY alloy 864, it improved strength, ductility and fatigue resistance at a reduced cost. The alloy was designed for applications such as flexible couplings and exhaust gas recirculation (ERG) components. However, with its excellent combination of strength and corrosion resistance, alloy 865 may be evaluated for chemical processing and marine applications.
