BRIGHTRAY ® Alloys
The BRIGHTRAY ® alloy range from Special Metals contains a mixture of nickel-chromium and nickel-iron-chromium alloys, with some containing rare-earth additions. The BRIGHTRAY ® family is comprised of electrical-resistance alloys and is suitable for use at operating temperatures up to 1050°C - 1150°C (1920°F - 2100°F).
BRIGHTRAY ® Alloy Usage
Given that BRIGHTRAY ® alloys feature excellent resistance to oxidisation, particularly under frequent switching or wide temperature fluctuations, they are ideally suited for use as heating elements in domestic appliances and industrial equipment / furnaces.
